This is a small selection of the many photographs I took during the week-long Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann, an amazing celebration of Irish music, culture and our gorgeous language.

While some see this event as little more than a fun day out, for the many musicians, dancers and performers of one kind or another, and lovers of the native culture of Ireland, this is a bold expression of who we are as a people.

It was fun shooting this event, and even though I did so in an unofficial capacity, I think these photos show my ability to shoot all manner of scenarios and in all manner of lighting situations.
