My Photo Books

One aspect of my practice is the compilation of photography books and “zines” which highlights a concept, theme or story that I want to tell through my photography. These books are listed below, to purchase them click on the image and it will take you to Amazon where you can buy them unless it states below the image that they are not available at the present time.

What’s The Frequency, Kenneth?

A paperback Zine published in 2024, showing photographs taken while I was living in the UK, focused mainly on the region of Wessex.

These images are from the early stages of my street photography.

The title was selected because I felt a weird disconnect from the people around me, a sense that they and I were on completely different radio signals.

Alone With Everybody

Street photography scenes shot in various places around the South East of Ireland. This book shares its title with a poem by Charles Bukowski because it examines how we are all too often separated from the people around us, and even when surrounded, we can still feel lonely.

It hints at the loneliness felt by the artist as he shoots the street scenes, by the people who walk around him, and even by the viewer of the pictures. But even with this seemingly mournful-sounding title, it is also a love letter to humanity.
