Video Promotion: How I can shoot your portraits while out and about.

One of the annoying aspects of trying to build your business as a photographer is the compulsion to spend hours sitting at computers compiling a video montage of our work or creating content that shows behind-the-scenes work, because we want people to see how we work and what we do.

This is largely due to Instagram, which many photographers have come to both hate and need, as it demands that we create these videos to increase brand awareness and drive sales, thereby getting our profiles noticed by the algorithm.

It’s part of life today, trying to be savvy with content creation, but it is also massively annoying when all you really want to do is get to work and take pictures.

That being said, I thought I would post this video I recently uploaded to my social network channels (Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube) to show you a sample of the kind of portrait work I have done over the past few years. Some of the pictures are posed, while others are candid photos taken as people go about their business. One of the kinds of shoots that I offer is being hired to shoot people having a day out and wanting to capture the memories of that day. Sometimes this requires the candid shot rather than the posed.
